Fuzzy Bunny Slippers

It would be easy to write something like: "the current line up of five, in the Fuzzy Bunny Slippers are great friends from the same high school, from the same home town, they all played Hockey together and they all lost their virginity in the back seat of a .(insert favorite car here) while listening to FUGAZI."  Well, that would be a classic American dream. The truth is that's
exactly the way the band started out back in late November, 1992.

It all changed when rock was still alive and NIRVANA ended. From the summer of '93 till now FBS has had a slew of members, all of them were very talented and a great asset to the Fuzzy Bunny Slippers. The vision of this band has always been, " to perform with people with the same agenda and same musical influences". We all know that people change, times change and music changes. And that's why people leave, quit or get fired. In most cases life has worked out quite well for the members that moved on.

Now, we are 12 years old in 2005 with a great line up of five individuals, with great talent and an un-wavering drive to deliver the most explosive "era" of the Fuzzy Bunny Slippers dynasty. Kurt, the bass playing singer has been around since about '94 and he deserves every right to be on that stage. He is the only musician on the cover scene or national scene that can play bass and sing effortlessly. It may seem easy but, the last guy you probably saw do this was STING. Mark Ludwig, guitar and vocals. He was hired in 2001 along with Ted Raffetto. The goal was to turn the band around from a SKA & REGGAE influenced PUNK band to a more main stream rock band. It worked, SKA was dead and PUNK was for teenagers. Rock took it's angry toll and the two founding members of FBS retired, Mike Burke and Joe Furey moved on to the business world and family life. Too many late nite drives and 11 + years of " No Weekends Off" can drive you nuts. Mike and Joe left the stage in 2003 but are still the remaining partners in FBS.

The latest onset of "change" has to do with the departure of Ted. He was such a dynamic individual that it would be hard to try and find his replacement. So, we didn't. We hired a female singer, Marci Cressman when Ted was still very much a part of the band. It just worked out that she was ready to step up to the plate when Ted left. Mike Czimback replaced Mike Burke on drums by way of Dave Duran in late 2004 and Mikey Z has been hitting the skins hard ever since he has had the chance to be in the band. Our beloved guitarist/singer, Nate Myotte, has put the final icing on the cake. Nate was a student of Mark's and it was his destiny to be in this band. He fit the mold as soon as he played his first note with the Fuzzies. The Fuzzy Bunny Slippers are like the New York Yankees, you just can't beat 'em. Every year better talent, every year another victory. Come witness a dynasty in action. And when you pay that cover charge, just remember you bought yourself a piece of history....
